HOW:
Let Your Feet Do the Talking was a paid social campaign created for Birkenstock in the run-up to Valentine’s Day, rolling out across multiple European markets. At the centre of the idea was the simple act of playing footsie: a subtle, playful expression of connection between partners, friends, or anyone we feel grateful to be near. The campaign explored the quiet, everyday gestures of affection that often go unnoticed — those small, instinctive moments that communicate closeness without words.
Designed as a tease-and-launch phase campaign for social platforms, the films told gentle love stories through fleeting, intimate moments captured at ground level. By focusing on the language of feet — and the Birkenstocks that accompany them — the campaign translated Birkenstock’s product into a quiet symbol of warmth, familiarity and grounding, human connection. The storytelling leaned into softness and restraint, allowing the product to exist naturally within moments of affection rather than dominating them.
