Ellie Jackson is freelance a multi-disciplinary creative director, copywriter, editor, journalist and publisher, creating bold ad campaigns, branding projects and editorial work covering culture, music, fashion, sport, luxury, lifestyle and beyond.

Based between Berlin and London and driven to explore culture as it appears and uncover stories that really matter to audiences, Ellie creates work to challenge perception and ditch out-of-date traditions.

Formerly British photographer Rankin's personal writer, Ellie covered creative campaigns for diverse clients, as well as writing books, documentaries, editorial work and more. This included the role as guest editor on issue 23 of Hunger Magazine that brought together global explorations of the metaverse conversation from both optimistic and pessimistic perspectives.

Following this, Ellie produced copy, branding, creative and film concepts for agencies including M&C Saatchi, Design Studio NYC, Dazed and Ridley Scott. Between 2023 & 2024, Ellie also spent six months leading the copy & concept team as creative director at Kemmler Kemmler in Berlin. She then returned to freelancing in 2024, creating campaigns and stories for brands like Atttd Studio and led storytelling projects for the International Trade Centre under the United Nations.

In 2022, Ellie independently launched The Movement Movement; a magazine by and for women and non-binary folk exploring movement and sport. Issue 01 launched globally in June 2024, along with the brand's first film release
