Running throughout July 2022 at Outernet London, Outernet x RankinLive: The Pride Sessions was a brand-new immersive exhibition celebrating Pride through photography, storytelling and live participation. Headed by Outernet’s Scott Neal and led creatively by Rankin, the experience was curated by Jordan Rossi of Rankin Creative, with photographic contributions from Rankin, Rossi and Joshua Heavens Onabowu. The exhibition brought together the voices and visages of LGBTQ+ community members in a powerful and immediate way.

The creative approach merged portraiture and narrative in real time: interviews with participants and contributors including former Attitude editor and Straightjacket author Matthew Todd were conducted concurrently with photoshoots, and the resulting content was instantly displayed on large-scale backdrops throughout the space. This live-feed integration transformed the environment into a dynamic celebration of identity and presence, creating a uniquely immersive and participatory experience. The work underscored the cultural resonance of Pride, and the power of real-time storytelling in a public forum
